  • Warranty - 5 weeks and waiting !!!

    According to my dealer, you have had my engine - returned under warranty with less than 10 hours - since the Wednesday after Memorial Day. What good is a "no-fault" warranty if your kids are not going to have a watercraft for the one week in an entire year when the whole family can vacation together - the week of July 4th.

    SBT part #40-111, SBT serial #41295, date of purchase 7/27/04, SBT invoice #74734.

    We are sorry that you are having trouble with your ski. Unfortunately, our records show that the claim was not filed until 6/14/05. We received the engine a few days later and were unable to find a problem with it. Nevertheless, your dealer is scheduled to receive a new engine in a few days. I know it is frustrating not having your ski for you and your family to enjoy during the season and we apologize for the problems you are having.

      I'd take that info, print it off, and take it right to your mechanic. Then he'll know you won't accept BS from him!!

              dang i missed the GOOD post lol

              i would like to know the outcome of the new engine and what the REAL problem was . its easy to point the finger its not so easy to say WHOOPs we were wrong { you know the dealer never will }
