I am just about done installing a 650 in a 92 VXR I got from you guys. My question is about the thin steel carburetor bracket that mounts between the carb and flame arrestor box, and also mounts to the two head bolts. I dont like the idea of breaking those two bolts loose to install the bracket, and then re-tightening them out of sequence of the other bolts. Do you recommend doing this in your install, or do you leave this bracket off.
If I do break those two bolts loose (which I have not done yet) will that void the warranty? I mainly didnt like the idea of loosening them and then torqueing them back down. I guess if you recommend this, you must not have many problems afterward, but I wanted to check before I made my decision.
