  • flywheel puller 787 rfi

    Hi,
I have a standard universal puller, I realize now, the bolt holes to use a flywheel puller are metric, I tried 1/4 and 5/16 which didn't work. Anyone know what size are they?

I think that they may be 8mm bolts for that flywheel (M8). Your flywheel puller probably came with 10mm bolts (m10) like mine did.

The flywheel bolts are M8 1.5s You can use two washers if you need to make the heads big enough to hold in your puller.

        Thanks for the replies yall,
        I took a guess and purchases some 8mm x 1.25 and 8mm x 1.00 80mm long bolts .
I bought my flywheel puller from kragen, it only cost 17.00 and came with SAE bolts.

I had to special order the metric bolts cuz most places like home depot, etc sell SAE bolts and I needed metric.

I got my bolts and they didn't fit. I finally figured out, yes im an idiot, that the bolts are 7mm not 8, mine is 7mm x 1.0

doh!! hope this helps out others....i took a metric ruler and measured, LOL didn't think about doing that before, LOL
