Display went out?

Hello guys: The display on my '04 FX 140 went partially blank today. First the fuel bars were gone, then portions of the RPM bars and the speedometer. It also doesn't let me switch between Volt/ hours. Any ideas?

I see you joined in 07/04 maybe when you purchased your unit? Is it still under warranty? This would be a covered repair. Call Yamaha customer service if not as they will often offer to help you on the replacement of the part on a "goodwill" basis. You will need to provide the PRIMARY I.D. # of the unit.

Thanks, this is what I thought to do. I checked it today and had water inside, this should be sealed or not? I have the extra warranty, so I should be fine.

Get it replaced on warranty asap. The LCD in my '00 gp1200r wend bad due to water leak and the new part is over $500 (I found a good salvage one).
