97 gts starter button

I have a 95 gts that I partial traded for a boat. I couldn't get it started and battery was not that good to begin with. When trying to start, it would continue to halfway turnover even after releasing the start button. I put in new battery and now it would not turn over at all. I pulled the plastic starter button housing off and stared moving/bending the button and it started sporadically turning over as I manipulated it. It's a rubber type button housing, can just this part be replaced or do I have to buy the entire switch(@65$).

yes you can were in sc are you located .. i know a place volacity motorsports in charleston has those little red bottons in stock .. i tocst me like 75cents for the botton .. but i do not htink that the little red botton is your only issue !!!
