  • 1996 spx starting problems

We just bought an used 1996 spx seadoo. It started fine the first time we tried it and ran great for about 30 minutes. Once we cut it off in lake it, it would not restart. We towed it in and read manual and replaced fuses and spark plugs. The next time we went out it started on about the 3rd try just fine and ran again for about 30 minutes(it evened restarted once). The third time we turned off it would not restart again. The starter turns over and tries to start but just can't get going. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

check your battery and check for leaking needle and seats in your carbs.

Are the sparkplugs wet and black?
Rebuild the carbs and replace the needles and seats in them.

Might want to check the manifold bolts and gasket. Bolts maybe broken and gasket might be leaking exhaust into your engine compartment which will smother your engine.
