  • 93 SL 750 problems

    I have 2 Polaris ski's a 1995 SLX 780 and a 93 SL 750.

The 750 engine was totally shot. I had the carbs rebuilt, SBT motor installed new triple fuel pump and switched to premix. Followed the break in proceedure running 32:1 for the first tank, ski was sluggish and would bog out easy unless you feathered the throttle. Ran it out of gas and then went to 40:1 still ran sluggish and if full throttle pulled it would die. Replaced the plugs. Ran better for like 10 minutes (I could pull full throttle and it would get up to speed but still sluggish compared to the SLX) after 10 minutes it went back to running like crap and full throttle makes it die. I tried pulling the choke when it was dying and it would die faster. I pulled the new plugs and they look good not oily nice brown color.

Need help here or I am going to sink this thing soon LOL
