Yamaha 760 wave venture under load problems

My 1997 760 runs good but when under load it bogs down and runs like crud. I noticed in my book it says the front and rear high speed jets have different settings. Front high speed 5/8 and rear 11/8 (book seloc). I had turned both to 13/4 not realizing the book had two settings and also due to new two stage reeds. But also the the filter when running stays very low on gas. Any ideas suggestions welcome! Thanks Joey

1 3/4 will be too rich..and run like crap....look for exhaust leaks...and or clean carbs...
