I notice at several websites that 1992 & 1993 Sl650's are recommended to take a champion RN-2C plug. The Selomarine manual says the original plug was an RN-3C plug (which I understand is a hotter plug).
Questions:
I've been to NGK & Champion but can sombody explain how heat range would affect these models (92/93 Sl 650's).
Also, what heat range should I go with? ie) What plug?
And - what does the original specs from Polaris state (and were there any deal advisories)?
Last - Its always best to go with a cooler plug from a safety perspective (engine damage etc I'm told) but what would a hotter plug translate into out on the lake while riding?
Thanks
