hello to all and great place for knowledge. hey i have two polaris slt one is a 1995 slt 750 and the other is a 1996 slt 780, they both have the fuji motor with the mikuni super bn carburetors. is there a flaw with these motors? fuel pump not pumping enough fuel to the number 1 carburetor and blowing the piston? oil pump not delivering enough oil to the carburetors and blowing the motor? is this true to all fuji and polaris motors on the slt's. both my ski's have the mikuni super bn carburetors with external fuel pump mounted at the rear of the fuel rack and on the other ski mounted in the hull rear of the starboard side motor. i have used both ski's for two summers and have had absolutely no problems with them bedsides general wear and tear and minor parts breakage. exactly what precausions should i be taken and and or modify on my ski's? block oil pump and premix? get another fuel pump? or just simply leave it alone.
respectfully la90043 have a great summer guys and girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!
