argh, what a pain in the ***. Anyways, 93 VXR PRO, had problems starting at first, readjusted carb, started fine, but wouldnt rev over 3 grand. Then we replaced the thermal sensor. Revved fine, took it out, wouldnt go over 4800 RPM's. Trimmed spark wires, fine, now it went to 6250 (what it should be) Rode it for a day, next day, rode fine for 40 minutes, then wouldnt go over 5 grand, next ten minutes, 4500, then 3000, then 2000, then 3000, then 4500 etc. etc.
It's definitely electrical by the sound, Im dead sure its not bogging, I've replaced in line fuel filter, and checked the carb, clean, its electronic
Would a bad CDI be doing this? And was all my fixes just coincedence? Or could it be bad spark wires?:
