Why is ther 4 layers of fiberglas on the inside of the hull -- and how much of the inner hull was fiberglassed? Has all the foam been removed? Any other work on the engine?

The engine is absolutely stock. The hull was reinforced because of the known weaknesses. As these came from the factory, most of the GP1200 hulls were prone to stress cracks, I had this one strengthened, it is now bulletproof.
The glass area is from about mid engine to just under the fuel tank, the weakest area of the hulls on any ski.

Actually....only the early '97 hulls had this problem.
