Question GTX WOT MAX RPM-5800 still looking

Bill:my 97GTX still will not run over 5800RPM with WOT. When I first start it, it always backfires two or three times after it runs for awhile it starts and doesn't backfire. I have replaced
    Rebuilt Carburetors cleaned all filters
    Clipped back plug wires
    Spark Plugs
    Checked fuel selector
    Replaced rectifier
    Replaced water regulator
    Replaced ignition coil
In the Spring I took ski in to Sea Doo dealer because it would not start they did a top end on motor and replaced the stator and possibly a few other things I don't have bill in front of me. They said it ran but needed to have carburetors rebuilt I told them I could do that.
I was reading in your post about rotor and flywheel must be aligned do you think that wasn't done correctly?
    Rotary Valve out of time?
    Carburetors not rebuilt correctly?
The high speed screw on PTO carburetor closed are open 1/4 turn has no effect on ski RPM
What do you think I should check now?
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

    Backfiring ?
That probably has to do with either RV timing, or ignition problems of some kind.
It wouldn't hardly run if they got the magneto cup misaligned on the flywheel.

When you say backfiring, do you mean explosions out the exhaust or pushing fuel back up the carbureators ?
