  • Ultra 150..oil to the "gearbox"

    Hi..

I've have just recived my new SBT egine..looking very nice..:emoticont

I noticed that there of course was oil in the case with the gear wheels, flywheel, etc..is this room lubricated by the oil pump? There is a oil plug in top of the case and a inspection glass on the side, do i need to fill the case up with oil before I start? If so, have much then..to the middle of the inspection glass?

Anything else I should be aware of when I sample the rest of the egine..

    Thanks for any feedback

    Bang ( Denmark...sorry for me english )

Yes, as described in the Installation Guide, it takes 200ml of oil.

Did you order through a dealer account?

Then I appologize, we should have included a copy of the instructions. I will mention it to Sales. If you need a hard copy I'd be glad to send you one.

                Hej Bang,

Jeg kan se at du har erfaring med SBT - jeg står overfor at skulle købe mig en ny motor til min xlt1200 - kan du give mig et par gode råd mht. at handle med SBT?

                Med venlig hilsen

                Jesper
