I have the original intake grate on a 1996 sea doo GTI, my problem is it does not stay planted in the water, would replacing the intake grate with a standard R&D intake grate help versus the original plastic one that is currently on there? thanks

A scoop grate (any) will give more adhesion and water intake in rougher waters, yes.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

I installed an R&D aquavein on my yamaha, and it makes a HUGE difference in choppy water. It also only scrubbed about 1/2 mph off the top in smooth water, wich is not too bad.Comment
