I recently took my 95 yamaha III waverunner out of storage. 2 years. Starter was froze.
Replaced it. Engine was froze. Pulled it out,
and knocked the engine loose. I pulled off the cylinders and cleaned everything with fine sandpaper, Filled the Crank with Diesel about 5 or 6 times, to clean it up. I put new rings on, changed the gaskets. Cleaned the carburator, but didn't use a carb kit. The only thing that appeared a problem was the needle valve was sticking so I cleaned that real well.
I've got 150psi in each cylinder. But its hard to start. I gotta pour fuel into carbs to start initially. It idles fine after a while but when you rev it up, it has problems and chokes out.
I figure carb problem. Carb Kit? or worse?
