  • New 951 motor.

    I recently got a 951 motor.

After reading the post about the low compression, I checked the squish on my motor.
My solder is .115 and it did not "squish"
I'm pretty sure with the excessive squish my compression will be very low:(
The motor is assembled but it'll be at least a month before I get it back in the boat.

Anything I can do before putting it back in the boat?
    Motor number is 54764.

    Thanks

As for any claim, please call in to Warranty with any details. I would wait until you actually get it in and can properly test compression though.

Yup, SUPER happy here with mine.

Mine was definately faster, but Chris did rejet the carbs and put on some Arrestors at the same time.
When in doubt throttle it out...

Attention to details! ALL of the SBT blocks I have installed have MET or EXCEEDED the OEM SPECS, and also the customer's expectations!
