  • Press Release: SBT Launches New 4 Stroke Engine Line

SBT Starts Up Four Stroke PWC Engine assembly line

After 18 months of research, design, engineering, and testing; SBT?s four stroke engine assembly line has started up. Shown here are SBT?s engineers and technicians with the first Yamaha FX 140 engine. Said Greg Pickren, SBT?s President, ?Our customers count on us for economical, quality PWC engines. The addition of the four stroke to our product line will keep the experience of owning and maintaining a PWC affordable in the future.? Lead engineer, Phil Friedlander added. ?A tremendous amount of field testing was conducted to verify the performance and reliability of our new four stroke engines. Having our own research lake and the Gulf of Mexico two blocks from the factory was a big plus.?

SBT?s four stroke engines will come with the same industry leading one and two year fault-free warranties that are offered for the company?s two stroke engines.

SBT is the largest remanufacturer of PWC engines in the world. The company remanufactured over 10,000 two stroke PWC engines in 2005 and offers a complete line of hard parts including pistons, starters, crankshafts, gaskets, pump parts, and carburetor rebuild kits. Customers can shop on-line at SBTontheWeb.com.
