  • Bleeding Oil Pump

In step 2.7 of your engine removal installation instructions it states for a 787-RFI engine, "Reconnect the two oil lines to the case and oil line to the oil pump. Using the bleeder screw, bleed the oil pump." I have the shop manual for my engine and in it states "Install a dry rag below oil injection pump. Loosen bleed screw to allow oil to flow. Keep bleeding until all air has escaped from line." There is no clear picture as to where the bleed screw is. They do not reference or point to the bleed screw. Do you have a picture of one that I could reference?

    Thanks,

    Re: Bleeding Oil Pump

It's in the center of the pump - the only bolt.
