I'm trying to remove my pump in order to replace the drive shaft boot. I've read the threads about using a 2x4 and pulling from the top cone threads but I have a question.
Is the factory ride plate attached to the pump at all. I cannot get the pump to unseat and I can't tell by looking if it's attached to anything. It doesn't look like it but I have to ask, just in case.
Is there any other way to install the boot?
