Does any type of lubricant or oil go in the hole on top of the magneto? If so, what?

Oil light?
No problems for the past two seasons, but when prepping it for this season, I found my oil light stays lit when the engine is running. It also lights up when the engine is off and I press the bilge pump button. Any ideas? Could the float be messed up? I want to correct this before getting it in the water.
