951 starter removal

I just purchased a starter and had it shipped overnite from SBT. What is the best way to remove a starter and install a new one on a 2000 GTX with a 951 engine? This starter has the 2 Allens on the back bracket. Can this starter be replaced without removing the carbs and or exhaust?

Yes, just the two bolts that go through the airbox support bracket and starter case hold it on. It's a tight fit, removing the airbox and carbs help.
