  • 1991 Seadoo GT will not start

Hi everyone. New here and the site looks very informative. Have a 1991 Seadoo GT with 580 yellow rotax. Pulled it out, put in brand new battery and plugs....no start. Get a click inside the grey electic box, but no turnover. I pulled the grey cover. I get 12 volts on the solenoid in, and 12 volts on the exit when the start button is pushed which I believe is normal. So I do not think its the solenoid. I have a feeling its the starter. Any way to be sure before getting rear ended at my local marine shop? How hard would this be to replace myself...considering I know little about pwc ? It looks like the starter lies right under the exhaust manifold....correct? Hard to take off? Thanks alot guys !
