Limited Yamaha XL1200 1999

I have replace the motor and the CDI and still cannot get it to fire, do you have any suggestions as to what I might check, I cannnot find any loose wires.

Check your stop switch - if it's shorted you get no ignition.

Also on them 1200 GPR eng there is a sensor right after the cat if that isnt hook up or shorted it will not stop the CDI from firing.
