Since I am getting the ski ready for summer by upgrading the power valves I also noticed I needed to change the impeller.
I have all the neccesary bolts off of the exterior. I used the factory manual to get it that far and all went as planned. However, I can't get the dang thing off. Are there ant trade secrets to getting the pump off?
I tried gently prying and pulling straight out. I did nothing inside the hull though because I saw nothing in the manual about that, but is there anything on the inside I need to loosen. I can get the pump to wiggle and pull out slightly when pryed, but the moment pressure is relieved, it just goes back in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
