650 TS acceleration problem

Ski starts and idle's great. then on acceleration it boggs down (Sort of like its chugging on air back in the jets, but the jet pump is ok), get close to a plane and suddenly comes to life and works great untill I slow down. There is a definate cut of point (abrupt) where it works great again.

Something sticking?

Is this a reed problem? I have never touched the carb in 14 years. I do run the ski every summer.

See picture of the reeds, I pulled them and I think they are ok?
