  • Extending a warranty?

    I now own two skis that have SBT motors in them. I just bought a premium package motor for my '99 GSX RFI and my '98 GSXL had a standard motor purchased for it and installed in August of 2005. My question is, if I brought the ski to SBT for an inspection to see that everything is in working order, and since the motor is still under warranty, would there be a way to purchase the premium motor warranty for the GSXL? Meaning, pay the difference of the standard vs premium to get an extra year of warranty? Like was said, it is still under warranty until August of this year and I could bring it down for a throrough inspection.

    They are not standard & premium motors, they are packages. The engines are all the same no matter what package you chose. No, we do not sell additional warranty time, sorry.

      I do realize the motors are all the same. Thats why I was asking to pay the difference of the "package" and get the extra year of warranty but I see that is not possible. Thanks.
