I just got an '01 Yamaha 1200 XLT and it won't crank. Before we bought it we tried to crank it on land for just a sec. and it worked fine (only left it running for a sec.). Took it to the lake today and it doens't turn over. First, on this wave runner, is there a direct hook up to your water hose or do you have to get a flush kit like I read about. Second, this ski supposedly has a new motor in it and "may need a little adjusting the carb." but now it is frustrating to not be able to get it to crank. Is there any tipical problems that are fairly easy to check for or do I pretty much need to find a mechanic? Thanks for the input.
