  • Oil injection pump blocking off

I recently bought a couple 1994 gtx seadoos on a double trailer. One needs an engine and wear ring, the other one needs a wear ring and the carbs rebuilt. Anyway, I pulled everything out of the one that needs an engine. I am wondering what I would have to do to eliminate the oil injection pump and mix the gas/oil myself. I know you can purchase a kit that blocks off the injection pump, but, I noticed one of the oil lines goes from the oil tank to a fitting located directly under the intake to the engine block. If I remove the oil tank and oil injection pump can I just plug the fitting to the engine block or is this some kind of lubrication port for the crankshaft? What else will I have to do if I choose to mix the oil/gas myself? Please, any advice you can give me is greatly appreciated!
