Looking at a 2002 1100 STX-DI and Kawaski website shows 170 psi as compression. Is this correct?
On a 52 hour engine, it had 115 psi on all three cylinders. Ski ran smooth and seemed to have no trouble hitting 60+ mph.
Just concerned about the different in reading and spec. I know it wouldn't be 170 as in new but 115 just seems low to me.
Second question is about the fuel Direct Injection system.
Was there any know problem with this system? Was it subjected to unusual high failure rate?
