I have a 1999 Yamaha Waverunner and recently have expierenced Exhaust Heat Warnings after running for aproximately 15-20 minutes at mid to full speed. I shut the system down and wait aprox 5 minutes and can run the unit another 15 minutes or so. At the first of the season I installed a block off kit for the oil injection system due to the unit being 6 years old but I never had any overheating problems over the summer. Recently installed a new impella and impella housing but don't see how that would cause this problem. Any Suggestions?
