  • Problem With Stabilizing Yamaha GP1200

    Dear Sirs,
I just purchased a used 1997 Yamaha GP1200 Wave Runner. The ski is in good condition I just had Yamaha put new plugs in it and it runs great. The problem I am having is it is very unstable when riding it and I can not put 2 people on it as I tried and we both just tipped over plus it leans on one side when sitting in the water. I see the adjustable stabilizers in the back now should they be all the way adjusted down? I am thinking new stabilizers will do the trick let me know your thoughts guys I appreciate any guidance. Thanks again,

    Dave

Totally normal. Give it throttle while the 2nd person is boarding. Other than that - don't go near or beyond the 275 max weight limit, and practice.

2 up skis are really meant for 1. 3 ups are really meant for 2.
