Reconditioning Gauge Display

Hi,

I can hardly read my guages due to scratches and degradation in the plastic. The Lcd image is OK it is just that the sun and surf has corroded the fases. Can I sand them smooth and get them clear again? If so what do i use. Is car buffing compound OK or is there some other trick of the trade to do. Sure don't want to buy a new meter assy.

Look in the polish section for plastic polish compound.
