Oil in bilge

I have a new SBT motor with less than 15 hours on a 2005 STX-R 1200 and we noticed oil in the bilge area. The motor seems to be running ok accept it shut off suddenly at three quarter speed but then restarted again immediately and then run well. Where might I look to find where this oil is leaking from? Could it be coming from the oil sending unit/pump, the motor itself or some another place. Help, I'm afraid of damaging the motor. I have an appointment with a Kawasaki dealer but have had nothing but bad encounter with the dealers in my area.

It could be coming from the tank, pump or any of the lines - you'll just need to look at it all and find it. Be advised that if you have an oil delivery problem and already seized it, damage has been done.
