i have a 2002 seadoo gtx di and when i put it in the water i cant rev the rpms up passed 2000 to 3000 rpm and only go 10-11 miles per hour. also maint light started beeping. can i check up on codes and fine the problem?? is there a fuel problem or engine problem please help...

My 99 GTX had the same problem last year. I found fouled spark plugs and one of the plugs had somehow backed itself out. It was hand tight. I changed the plugs and made sure it was tight. Haven't had problem since then. Good luck!

Your ski is in limp mode, a protective mode that limits the motor when there is something wrong. You need to take the ski into the dealer and have them plug it into the BUDS system to pull all the codes and do a diagnostic on it.
