94 GTS Starts Will Not Run

I put a rebuilt 587 engine in my 94 GTS.
It starts and runs for about 2 seconds then dies.
To start it again I must choke it. It starts, runs for 2 seconds then dies.
I need guidance where to go from here.

You either need to rebuild your carb, have your fuel lines improperly connected, are missing something like your pulse line, have a blockage in the fuel system, etc.
