Sea Doo GTX 787 water hose question

[HC1949]

Looking for verification as to where the 2 water hoses connect to the rear of the cylinder head. One has the arrow going inward and the other outward. The easiest way for me to be absolutely sure is to know where to connect the line that goes to the garden hose connection. I had a recent problem where the exhaust pipe blew off and almost sunk the boat and I'm worried that I may have reversed these two hoses. The hoses and muffler appear to have gotten very hot but no warning beeps went off.

not on my computer, sorry, the book I have only covers the 96 model SP, SPX, SPI, GTS, GTI, XP and HX

*edit* - found one for a 97 GS.. Hope it helps
