Hello,
This is my first post. I recently just bought a nice GTX, it runs nice and strong and i want to keep it that way. But i recently read a few post concerning a plastic washers used in the supercharger. Many has failed because of this and it seems like everyone has switched to metal washers. Well i'm not very familiar to 4-tec engines let alone superchargers..... My question is:
1. How will i know when my supercharger fails?
2. Will it damage the engine or the supercharger or both?
3. Is this a well known fact and Seadoo has a recall on this problem.
4. Is this an easy fix by an authorized Seadoo service ?
5. How much will it cost to change the plastic washers to metal ones?
I could really use some answers, because i like preventative maintenance
