  • Missing Tube Connection

On my 2002 Seadoo GS there is a missing tube connection on the top of the Oil Reservoir. The one side seems to attach to the crankcase (perhaps to pressurize the oil reservoir), but the other side does not connect to anything?

Should there be another tube? I was researching because I always shave some oil on the bottom of my Seedoo after running it.

    I have included a picture...

    Thanks

    Re: Missing Tube Connection

All that is is a vent for the tank, if you overfill your oil tank it will leak out of there, one thing that you can do to prevent oil from coming out of there is attach a hose on the end of it and extend it attaching it above the tank somewhere close to where the line is now, i did that to mine and it works great

      Re: Missing Tube Connection

Very Helpful and relieving. I was afraid something had fallen off. I found this while trying to remove the Gas Gauge sender unit. It seems to be impossible on my model without removing the engine. I determined that I could live without the Gauge working if it involved removing the engine.

      Thanks for your help.
