I have a 06 15f. My top speed when I bought it on the speedo was about 61, sometimes 62. I have installed the Riva Free flow filter, and R&D rideplate. On cooler days (60's or 70's) I see 63-64 on the speedo. When it is warmer (80's or up) I see 61 or 62 only. I gps'd it while the speedo was at 64 and the gps showed 61. A buddy of mine bought a 15f at the same time I bought mine and his always had more top end. (we weigh about the same) I read about guys hitting 64-65 with these same mods. I am only reaching speeds that a stock 15f should be and sometimes I am under that. I feel that the sled probably isn't revving high enough for some reason. I only see 2 bars past 7000 and on cooler days 3 bars and the speed is increased. I know I should get a digital tach to verify this. Does anybody else have any suggestions as to possible problems? I also tried a solas concord prop and didn't see any top end difference.
