Exhaust is overheating on a 1996 Challenger 787. The engine is cooling fine so is the header pipe. The cone pipe, resinator and muffler is getting very hot. turned the paint a different color. I checked the poppit valve at the resinator to make sure it is clear. After running it a second time everything is cooling good except the cone pipe. What is going on? How is the cone pipe cooled?
