  • Loss of Power after new oil

My dad bought me some new oil for my 92 SPI. It said for Seadoo on the bottle and the ratings were listed in the manual. It ran for about 20 minutes fine and then started missing and had no power. We drained all the oil out and put new seadoo oil in (from the dealer this time) and new plugs. It still does the same thing. It runs fine out of the water but as soon as it hits the water it does not rev and bogs out.
Both plugs are gapped OK and they both get hot so electrically it seems OK. May be just coinsedence that it happened after the oil but seemed to be related. Any ideas? Someone told me to check the rave valve. Where is that? I can't find any mention of it in the manual.
    Thanks for the help.

Your ski does not have Raves... so forget that comment...

what type of oil did you use.. I know it said for seadoo, but what brand...

As far as your problem, it doesn't sound oil related to me.. First, do a compression test, then it might be time to clean the carbs.
