    Default Yamaha GP 760 Beats me to death

    I have a 1999 Yamaha GP 760...it porpoises and beats you to death....we have put weight in the front...the sponsons do nothing....we put a bigger ride plate on it...any suggestions?

    turn the trim nose down.. (handle up)

    If that doesnt do it, your trim systems cable/pulley/llinkage system is broke.

    take your ride plate off, and put a washer between the ride plate and the ski hull on each of the 2 back srews that hold it on.

    If you do that, make sure the washers are as large as possible. They will rip through the SMC if they are too small.
