2001 seadoo gtx di rave valve help!!

Hey i need some help!! i bought a used 2001 gtx di with 96 hrs on it. i ran great then i took it to seadoo for the 100hr maintenance! Now instead of running at 63mph it is only running at 52mph!! i took it back to seadoo and they replaced the air injectors and fuel filters!! Its still not running higher then 52mph at 6200rpms. From what i have been reading it could be the rave valves! i asked seadoo and they didnt know what i was talking about. so i took the rave vavles off my self and they were realy dirty - i soaked them in oven cleaner for 2 days and cleaned them really well!! now i'd say once every 2 hours while riding the ski i can feel the valves open up and it runs awesome -- but how do i get them to open up everytime i hit the WOT!!?? I tired adjusting the blue screw on top all the way up and all the way down - the ski feels a little different with each setting but neither setting is helping the rave open up?!!? Please help i am very frustrated and my seadoo dealership sucks i spent $1200 bucks there and they said my ski is running fine but i know there is something else wrong!! they calim they water tested it twice and it ran fine at 62mph "yea ok" they are no help!! please HELP!!

Dissasemble the raves. Make sure the springs on the bellows are all in place and everything in there is clean.

your solenoid might be going out as well.

Everything on the raves are clean is there anyway to see if there working? And where would the solenoid be in the front of the seadoo?

ok i found the rave's solenoid it's $183. Should i replace it? Is there anyway to check to see if thats defenitly my problem?

You can easily test the solenoid. Place a hose onto one of the nipples and blow into the hose while applying some 12 vdc power to one of the wires. The solenoid should go from being opened to being closed each time you put power to it.

it is possible to buy a factory repair manual that is the same as your dealer uses. It expains how stuff works and how to check things like your R.A.V.E. solenoid. You can find them on e-bay for fairly cheap.

can i take the caps off the rave valves and then start the engine, hit it "wot" to see if the valves go up and down?
