Water stream from VX-110

If I plug the water stream hose on the back of my 2006 VX 110, will it hurt anything? Does this have anything to do with engine cooling? My tubers would appreciate some advise.......

hahah, no it wont hurt anything, the cooling system has nothing to do with that stream. yamaha designed that stream so that when your riding other boats could see your stream to know your where you are. you could either take off the hose and put a plug in the whole where the hose was or you can just krimp the hose itself
