  • glue for traction mat

The traction mat on my 93 SPI is partially detached and floating up when I am in the water. I want to glue it back down. Any suggestions as to the glue I should use?

If it is a foam mat, use contact cement. If it is a stiff rubber oem mat like comes on a Sea Doo, they use rivets to hold them down. The best thing to do there is buy Hydro Turf foam rubber mats and glue them down.

Thanks for the reply. They are foam mats. I bought DAP Weldwood gel formula contact cement tonight and applied it on the mat and the gel coat. I used a disposable "foam rubber" brush. I let it get tacky and pressed them together. Seems to work great. Thanks again.
