  • Help! Sunken 2007 wake

I recently purchased a new 2007 wake edition 215hp Sea Doo and after 4 hr.s it sunk! After taking it too a authorized dealer, it was found to be a factory defective Opes valve or gasket. Anyway I am wanting to know if anyone else out there has had any similar experience??? I'm rather concerned about the longevity of the craft as it had completely ingested water. Any input would be helpful, Thanks

i would tell them give you another one who knows what else is wrong with it! so after it sunk did you try to do anything to get it started like as in take the plugs out?and how long did it sit after it got sunk.usualy you must get it started soon as possible or else engine parts inside will start to rust that causeing even more bigger problems.:emoticonc

It should still last normally if all of the proper proceedures were followed after sinking it. Thousands of PWC's get flooded with water every year. It is what follows that makes the difference in how long the motor will live.
