99 XL1200LTD gas/oil ratio

I am rebuilding the top-end of this machine...oil line came lose on rear cylinder. SBT parts are on the way. I am blocking the oil pump and going pre-mix. What is the gas/oil ratio for this model? I was planning to use 40:1 but not sure this is correct.

40:1 is fine
