    Default Connecting Rod Play

I'm in need of some ideas answers and help here. I have a crank that the center connecting rod has more freeplay from side to side only when you move it back and forth from the top of the rod. It dosent have a large gap where the rod connects to the crank that is in the limitations. but Im not sure if I should put my engine back together like that. One person told me its not the side to side movement its the up and down. Any ideas please let me know. Thank you

    Default Re: Connecting Rod Play

If it is in spec, then you may be ok to re use it, if there is any rust or blueing then re place it.
