  • Rebuilding top end - Dow Corning

Hi Guys, I'm rebuilding my top end and when installing cylinder blocks it calls for loctite 515 (which I have) on bolt threads & it also calls for Dow Corning 111 under the bolt heads -

Whats your opinion on this? Is it so critical to lube with Dow Corning 111?

    Thanks

it's just the SD assembly grease. I use a dip of anti-seize or even 2-stroke oil on the tips of the bolts.
